Birmingham tonight. Fun.
I was right next door in academy three watching my mate’s band win some heats for an indie competition and also finding awesome new bands (Bigger Than Seattle) but it was torture walking in with all the Bastille/Two Door people… March and April: cannot wait.
Listen to Monsieur Adi’s official remix of “Summertime Sadness” by Lana del Rey.
25 and Still alive…minus the lock of hair I lost in the flames of this birthday wish
New video from COASTS - ‘Oceans’.
Feeling the energy on this one
Newcastle-based MAUSI’s upcoming single “Move” is pretty much the definition of infectious. Glorious melody after glorious melody, this is simply put the best dance song of 2013 so far. If you’re a bit awkward out there on the floor, just listen to the lyrics for proper instructions.
The single will be out on March 4th on Loose Lips.

One of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen.

My last breath of festivity for the year. Just listen to his solemn, sad, yet inspiring voice. Whatever. Merry Christmas.

This is a nice idea but not quite executed as well as it could of been. However, it all depends on how raw you like your performances. Medium rare to well done for me!
“When Birmingham band Peace joined Lauren Laverne in session in November they recorded a Christmas song for the show. Not your average Christmas song though, it’s a mash-up of All I Want For Christmas Is You and Radiohead’s Creep.
When Lauren played it on the show on BBC 6 Music, it went down rather well. So, here it is again for your listening pleasure. Enjoy.
You can find out more about Peace at www.peaceforeverever.co.uk/”
